No. All Betty products are manufactured using isolated cannabinoids that do not contain high-inducing THC. Depending which Betty product you use, you can expect to experience relaxation, drowsiness, an enhanced sense of focus, or reduction in pain perception.

Betty under-the-tongue melts take effect in about 10 minutes. Betty body care products provide immediate delight.

Under-the-tongue enjoyment allows more of the active ingredients in Betty melts to enter the bloodstream directly, bypassing the digestive tract and liver. This means the melts take effect more quickly and more strongly. “Sucking” on the melt as you would a candy, on top of the tongue, will not do you any harm, but may reduce the product’s effectiveness.

Our massage oils and roll-on balms are for external use, avoiding the eye area. Beyond that, there is no wrong way to enjoy our products! We recommend rubbing them anywhere you want some serious soothing. Betty Love Potion is edible and safe for the body’s most intimate areas (avoid the eyes, please).

While our products were formulated for the body, they are certainly appropriate for the face as well. Since our blends include a wide range of botanical ingredients, we recommend a spot-test first to rule out any sensitivity. Always avoid contact with the eyes.

Betty under-the-tongue melts are free from soy, dairy, egg, wheat and gluten. Our topical massage oils and balms are also gluten-free and use sunflower lecithin, not soy. Betty Love Potion uses a base of coconut oil.
All Betty products are free of phthalates, parabens, petrochemicals, sulfates and artificial colors, flavors and fragrances.

The cannabinoids in Betty products are sourced from hemp and processed at facilities that are certified by the Colorado Department of Public Health.

The isolated, hemp-derived cannabinoids found in Betty products do not contain THC (the psychoactive compound in marijuana), and will not make you high. However, scientists are still exploring the possibility that certain cannabinoids may convert from one form to another during the metabolic process — a factor that could theoretically impact a drug test. To be extra careful, we strongly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before using any hemp-based products if you are concerned about drug screening.

Absolutely. It’s perfectly safe to take several melts at once. Many people achieve great results by tinkering around until they find their “perfect recipe” for sleep, relaxation, focus, creativity and more. We recommend that you do not exceed 18 melts total in a 24-hour period.
